Theresa May, U.K. Home Secretary (who was part of the ‘Remain’ campaign to stay in the EU) and is now the leading contender for the role of Conservative Prime Minister, formally launched her campaign…promised to put worker representatives on the boards of publicly listed businesses in Britain and curb the excesses of corporate pay, acknowledging the underlying factors behind the vote result. These have already quickly been picked up by institutional investors and the importance of rising inequality was covered here on Forbes.
